Jenna Bell: One Year After Heart Transplant
When Jenna Bell was 23, she was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. At the time, doctors told her she would likely live her entire life with heart disease. For many years that was her reality. However, thanks to the incredible generosity of an organ donor and the Saint Luke’s transplant team, Jenna began a new life on February 16, 2016, when she received her new heart. One year post-transplant, Jenna shares what that journey was like and what her life looks like today.
