Ingram's: The Circle Tightens
Recent realignment of ownership and operating agreements in the Kansas City area have consolidated market share among several of the largest health care systems, including Saint Luke's, now the West Region of BJC Health System.
Hospital executives say that there are good reasons for the consolidations, which mirror trends among health-care systems nationwide, and that patients can expect benefits from those alliances.
