KSHB: Missouri Woman Diagnosed with Heart Disease Through New Testing at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute
New diagnostic testing is giving answers to patients suffering from chest pain despite having no blockages in their arteries.
Dawn Paitz suffered debilitating chest pain for months. But each time she went to the hospital, all the traditional testing came back normal. Finally, she went to Saint Luke's, where doctors suspected she had ANOCA, short for angina with no obstructive coronary arteries.
KSHB talked to Dr. Dany Jacob, an interventional cardiologist at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, about the new testing offered at Saint Luke's that's getting to the root of the issue.
